Check these items in order:
- Open WealthLock → Protection and confirm Screen Time Access is active.
- Confirm at least one app, category, or website is selected, your purchase is active, and App & website blocking is on.
- Force-quit and reopen WealthLock after an iOS update or device restore.
Can WealthLock protect websites?
Yes. Add the sportsbook domains you use under Website protection in the Protection tab. Website protection is applied through Apple's Screen Time framework in Safari.
What does Full Protection cost?
Current U.S. plans are $16.99 per year, $2.99 per month or $39.99 once for lifetime. Subscriptions are billed upfront and renew until canceled; new plans have no introductory trial. Apple confirms your local price before purchase. Existing supported purchases can be restored.
Can I use WealthLock without subscribing?
Pause exercises are free. Blocking, protection settings and tracking require Full Protection. Restoring purchases, PIN recovery and releasing deletion protection remain free. Active Protection locks and configured PIN approval still apply to protected changes. You can browse plans and manage an existing Protection PIN without buying again.
How do I turn off deletion protection?
Open Protection and release Prevent app deletion, entering your configured PIN if asked. This does not require a subscription and is available during Protection lock. A separate manual restriction previously set in Apple's Content & Privacy settings must also be changed there.
How do PIN recovery and accountability work?
The optional six-digit PIN protects major in-app changes. Forgot PIN uses Face ID or the iPhone passcode and preserves active locks. Accountability accepts email or phone: Done validates and saves. You review and send messages through Mail or Messages; WealthLock does not send automatic alerts.
What does the betting estimate mean?
Your optional baseline is total bets placed per day, week or month. Estimated betting avoided uses completed days of your self-reported gambling-free streak. It is separate from Money saved and adds no check-ins. WealthLock does not detect bets or relapses.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Open iPhone Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → select your WealthLock plan → Cancel Subscription. Your access remains active through the current paid period.
Can an active Protection lock be shortened?
No. WealthLock shows the duration and asks for confirmation before arming it. A timed lock expires automatically at the displayed time. Permanent lockdown has no in-app unlock while paid access is active; additions stay locked too. All blocking and deletion restrictions stop when paid access expires. Saved configuration and original lock dates remain intact. Blocking still requires Screen Time permission.
Why does the opportunity-cost illustration use 8%?
It is a simplified long-term illustration, not a prediction. Actual investment returns vary and can be negative. WealthLock does not move money, recommend an investment, or guarantee a return.
What information does WealthLock collect?
Your protected-app choices, Screen Time history, interruption history, entered amounts, and accountability contact do not leave your device. Read the privacy policy for the complete explanation.
How do I delete my locally stored data?
Release the optional deletion restriction, then delete WealthLock from your iPhone. Subscriptions are managed separately by Apple and must be canceled in Settings if you no longer want them to renew.
