Terms

Last updated: July 30, 2026

WealthLock is licensed under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. The explanations below clarify the app's purpose and subscription terms.

Purpose of WealthLock

WealthLock is a self-installed commitment tool for adults who want more distance from gambling impulses. It is not medical care, addiction treatment, therapy, financial advice, investment advice, or an emergency service.

Opportunity-cost illustrations

Charts and future values are hypothetical illustrations based on the amount and annual-return assumption shown in the app. WealthLock does not transfer, save, or invest money and does not guarantee any financial result.

Subscriptions

Full Protection is offered as an auto-renewable annual subscription. Eligible new subscribers may receive a 3-day free trial. Unless canceled, the subscription renews automatically and Apple charges the price shown on the purchase sheet to your Apple ID.

A separate Founding Protection plan may be offered for $14.99 per year. It is billed immediately, has no free trial, and renews annually until canceled. Prices and eligibility can vary by region and are confirmed on Apple's purchase sheet.

Managing or canceling a subscription

Manage subscriptions through iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the next charge. Apple manages billing, cancellation, and refund requests.

Time Lock

Time Lock is intentionally designed so an active timer cannot be shortened inside WealthLock. Review the duration carefully before confirming it. The lock expires automatically at the time displayed in the app.

Availability and limitations

WealthLock depends on Apple frameworks, device settings, and operating system behavior that may change. We work to keep protection reliable but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation on every device or iOS version.
